Anna Silk

Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role as Bo. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The daughter of Peter an academic, and Ilkay Silk, a prominent performer, actress, and playwright and Director of Drama in St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna is a bit of a child with earliest memories of watching television and attending play rehearsals. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts in 1997 from St. Thomas University in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged two plays in the early years: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999, and during the following decade relocated into Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman is her future husband, who she first was introduced to at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. In December 2009 they married in a civil wedding ceremony. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10, the couple renewed their vows following her decision to convert to Judaism. Silk got a baby that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13th, 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's TV work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received a Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she was cast as the Bo Dennis in the series Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk told fans of the show her good news that she had become pregnant during the filming of the final episode of season 3. The show was a pre-show exclusive for Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase during a special Season Three show held January 6, 2013 before the show's premiere. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that she is ready to resume her work. On June 4, 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of production of the fourth season. CNN, Cable News Network and E! have both named Bo (played by Silk) as well as Lauren Palmer (Zoie) one of their top television couple. Entertainment Television.
